The freezing rain we got Sunday night put a little crusty cap on the 1-2 foot snow pack.
OUTLOOK: Conditions will improve this week as groomers make their rounds and we get more snow. The best riding will likely be found in the wider trails like Perkins Clearing and Speculator Tree Farm. The Fawn Lake trail is “at your own risk” riding due to flooding at Clay Vly. Be alert for washouts and muck holes on the narrow woods trails which will have a better opportunity to freeze up with lower traffic.
